PROFILE: My photographic experience started at school where I completed 6th Form and Bursary Photography. After leaving school I continued to develop my skills, using my own Nikon 35mm camera and our home darkroom.

I specialise in Photographic assisting in the Advertising / Illustrative field having experience with a wide range of cameras and formats and lighting equipment. Additionally, I have extensive experience with digital photography and manipulation.

I completed a Diploma in Contemporary Photography at Unitec in Auckland which benefited my photographic development by exposing me to a wide range of photographic formats, styles and genres.

I consider that the photographer’s task is to make the client look good, and the assistant’s task is to make the photographer look good.

My experience in digital photography has resulted in an award at the NZIPP Iris Awards 2005.
