Mead Norton studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, USA for three years before embarking on a year-long photographic journey through Asia and New Zealand that culminated in his winning the 2005 Grand Prize for Mountain Photography, presented by the Banff Film Festival and the National Geographic Society.
Mead makes New Zealand his home and his company, Natural Studios, focuses on photos inspired by nature. His work includes sports, landscape, travel, outdoor portraits, and advertising photography. He has had his images published in a variety of publications and displayed in galleries in America, Canada, and New Zealand. He is available for editorial assignments, portraits, events, and advertising jobs.
