After 15 years behind the lens Jackie Meiring has established herself as one of New Zealand’s most accomplished Fashion photographers. She has vast experience in a wide range of subject matter, specialising in Commercial and Editorial Fashion. Originating from the highly competitive Cape Town scene she gained valuable international experience shooting for titles such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, GQ, Men’s Health and Maire Claire to name a few and commercial accounts such as Lecoste, Marlboro Originals, Cuervo Tequila, Ambiente, and Rosner. Arriving in New Zealand in 2001 Jackie has shot huge volumes of magazine Editorials, Catalogues and secured prestigious fashion and advertising work; MOONTIDE, NAPOLEON PERDIS COSMETICS, FARMERS, CAROLINE SILLS, ANDREA MOORE, AIR NEW ZEALAND, XBOX, to name a few. Jackie has also developed a penchant for shooting covers with over 100 published to date, 28 of them since arriving in New Zealand. “I enjoy shooting conceptual images, whether they be for fashion or advertising. I bring a strong understanding of visual communication, technical ability and the human condition to my shoots.” |
