Danilo Sant'Ana David was born in 1974 and grew up in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He learnt photography 16 years ago at a philanthropic school of photographers from the 60's who refused to touch an automatic camera.

Aside from photography Danilo's interests also including cooking, climbing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and hot air ballooning. It was the latter which took Danilo to Austria and Germany where he finally made the decision to explore the other side of the world.

Since arriving in New Zealand his award winning photography has been well received. Danilo pays special attention to the details, delivering quality imagery and excellent customer service.
