| Alex Henderson has been photographing people from an early age. As a teenager he sold his first picture to a sponsor for a visiting american basketball team. His work has appeared in Photo International, Photo Asia and in Metro Magazine Bangkok. Living in South East Asia for a number of years he has acted as himself in a promotional documentary about the North of Thailand titled "The Mystical North" in which he was writing a book and capturing images of the people, customs and environment of the Northern reaches of Chiang Mai, MaeHong Son and Chiang Rai. His first exhibition Wahine 001 appeared on Prime TV news in New Zealand and he has exhibited with the Foreign Artists Club at the Metropolitan Art Museum in Japan. He has been the Media officer for Victoria Webb fashions in Tokyo, covering catwalk, editorial and catalogue for three of her collections. Building a career in fashion, portrait and editorial photography Alex is aiming for his label Profile Studios to be synonymous with compelling, top level imagery at an international level. |
