IMAGE NATION 2012 PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONFERENCE

New Zealand's most highly anticipated photo industry event - the Image Nation Professional Photography Conference - is set to provide professional and amateur photographers with a veritable feast of inspiration on the weekend of June 23rd and 24th, 2012.
Organised by the Advertising and Illustrative Photographers Association (AIPA), Image Nation is aimed at professional photographers, assistants, students and keen photo enthusiasts alike, giving attendees an invaluable opportunity to hear entertaining and insightful presentations from some of the world's most renowned image makers and industry experts.
This is the fourth consecutive year the event has been held and the AIPA is excited to announce an epic line-up of speakers on this year's schedule including: Jez Smith, Urs Buhlman, Shannon McGrath, Nick Rains, Colleen Tunnicliff, Fraser Harding, Joyce Campbell, Johnny McCormack and Grant Sheehan. The bumper event will feature 12 presentations over the course of the weekend, with six held on each day.
"Every year we invite a diverse line-up of speakers so that there's something for everyone. This event features a wide range of truly exceptional photographers with very distinct photographic backgrounds; from advertising and fashion photography, to landscapes, travel, architecture, snowboarding, fine art and more," says AIPA Executive Director, Aaron K. "Image Nation is not just about visual inspiration, the event also offers attendees a wealth of valuable information about the advertising and editorial photographic markets - knowledge that can be used to achieve future success in the industry."
